Cloth Breast Pad Review

Posted in 'Reviews' on February 1, 2011, 9:05 am
We love getting feedback on all of our products, as a matter of fact can't get enough of it so we've decided we're going to be sending some products off to Mamalogue for review.

Who is Mamalogue?
Mamlogue is a unique mama catalogue for mums and mums to be.  It's sort of like a classifieds where you can buy, sell or swap new or preloved items for your baby.
Mamlogue also offers product reviews and who better than to review but all of you out there of course!

Each time a business needs something reviewed, the product is sent to Mamalogue and applications open for anyone to apply and become a reviewer (if criteria met).

We have sent in 2 packs of 4 pairs of cloth breast pads to be reviewed - Twinkle Lily Breast Pads

All you need to do to review them is meet the criteria and apply!

First time Prep mum

Posted in 'General' on February 6, 2011, 9:46 am
I am super excited, yet so emotional.  My first child start prep tomorrow and of course I'll be posting pics everywhere of him in his new uniform as all mums do.
I am just so happy for him, just knowing that his days will be filled with so much learning and so much fun.

Even happier as this means that I'll have heaps more time up my sleeve.  Feb in general will be hard to get through because of the limited hours they attend school and kinder, plus I need to work hard to get some reasonable stock levels up in time for the cloth nappy hunt in March, I need to organise my products better in packs that suit people's lifestyles better and organise some finance from the bank so I can get my offshore production underway which is soooo delayed right now.
I can't believe how close I am to finally letting go of all that sewing, I am really over being stuck to the machine and not doing better things with my time like working on strategies for moving forward.

There's so much planned for this year, I think its either make or break this year.  I have lots of work and loads new ideas up my sleeve, with 2 new cloth pad designs and 2 new nappy designs coming into testing by mid year....oh the fun of it all!

Back to normality again

Posted in 'General' on February 10, 2011, 8:37 am
Well this week is the last week of kinder staggered sessions...amen.....I can finally get into some sort of routine next week and get some real work done.

Although it has been great, for once I've been on top of all lof the cooking, the housework and spent some real quality time with the boys, am in control of my weight loss journey and my health and even my quarterley plans thus far have knocked off everything I have planned....I almost and I mean a very small niggle wondered whether I should sell on and just be a mum for once.....that idea quickly fizzled though LOL

So on the agenda for next week, get some more samples of all of my cloth nappies into the post to my "main man" offshore.  I am contracting out the lot, Trimsters, Superdays and BabyHosen cloth nappies...and if I don't manage to sell the Supernights ® and the wool cover business soon - they'll be next to go offshore.

And yes I know there are going to be some grumpy people out there, but hey if only you knew how hard it was to employ and keep someone employed you'd quickly understand and empathise.
Imagine keeping over 30 wholesale accounts who most of them sponsor the cloth nappy hunt and keeping their stock levels reasonable and I always get my orders out asap....usually within the same week but for larger ones around the 2 weeks, it can actually get quite stressful.

Lifestyle packs

Posted in 'General' on February 18, 2011, 6:53 am
I am so behind this week, trying to finish up orders so that I can finally arrange all of my cloth menstrual pad packs.
I will probably get these done tonight sometime....hopefully if things go according to plan.

What are the lifestyle packs?
We have been gathering some feedback for a while now, and also researching feedback through forums etc and whilst trial packs are great for newbies who are converting to cloth pads I have found seasoned users actually email me with their order as they prefer a different sort of pack accprding to their needs.

So we are increasing our range of menstrual cloth pad packs to suit miss petite, a new PP pack, a teen pack, a heavy flow pack etc..even GWTF pads are will be available in packs making your selection easier.
